Our Story

The Brockette Homes team provides customized service to meet the specific needs of today’s buyers and sellers. We run a referral business in the Cedar Rapids/Marion and Waterloo/Cedar Falls areas, which means we stay in touch with family, friends and past clients, providing valuable real estate resources, information, and service.

Beth built her career in the business world.  With a business administration degree and accounting minor, she worked in a variety of positions within Alliant Energy before transitioning to real estate in 2010.  Katie spent 15 years in international sales within the agricultural industry prior to joining Ruhl&Ruhl REALTORS in 2019.

After more than 30 years in a corporate environment, Beth took a risk to branch off on her own in the real estate industry. She found her home with Ruhl&Ruhl REALTORS, because the Ruhl&Ruhl culture matches her desire to provide excellence in customer service with the highest level of integrity. As business grew, so did the need to grow the team. Our marketing assistant, Julie, was added in 2014 and Alan (now retired) in 2015.  And in 2024, we welcomed Katie as part of the Brockette Homes team.

Through the internet, today’s homebuyers and sellers have a wealth of information at their fingertips. Brockette Homes provides value by analyzing and understanding that information, sharing expert knowledge of the local market, and offering memorable service to make the process run smoothly. We work with all types of people, in a wide variety of price ranges.
