There is so much to do in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City Corridor it’s SCARY! Check out these events coming up:
- Matthew 25 Benefit Concert featuring folk music performers – On Sunday, October 25, Katie Dahl, a Wisconsin singer-songwriter, and her husband Rich Higdon will perform a live folk music concert at Matthew 25 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
- Scarecrow Invasion at Brucemore – October 13th through 27th. View the creative scarecrow creations by individuals, businesses and organizations in our community. Winners will be announced October 25th.
- Granger House After Dark: Spooks, Spirits… & Things that go Bump in the Night – Are you a fan of those paranormal shows on TV? Darcie McGrath will look “behind the curtain” to discover some the of the tricks of the trade, and learn just how much of those TV shows are “fact or faked”.
- NewBo Family Fright Night – October 30th. Looking for a safe, fun place to take the kids for Halloween adventures? Look no further than the Market! There will be trick or treating, crafts and fun, Halloween themed foods from 6-7pm, followed by a family-friendly Halloween movie at 7pm. It is sure to be fun for goblins and ghouls of all ages!
